There are still survivors of 9/11 living with what happened that day. There are still families, friends and loved ones living with the people they lost. So when you recycle conspiracy claims that were investigated and debunked decades ago, you’re not just spreading nonsense on the internet. You’re dragging real people back through a tragedy they actually lived. They deserve better than having their loss turned into content for someone else’s conspiracy obsession.

INCREMENTALITY FOR RETENTION One of my favorite topics. Yes, you absolutely should be running incrementality tests on your email, sms, upsell efforts. This is the canonical use case for holdout testing No, we haven’t productized this at Haus. Why not? @connorrolain answers that eloquently in this clip — you can run user level studies yourself! Unlike acquisition testing, in retention you already have the user data you need to cleanly segment audiences into treatment and control groups and run holdouts. I think their call for Haus to advise on this as a service is interesting. I’ve always thought of incrementality testing in retention largely as a solved problem but maybe that’s wrong. If you struggle here, hit me up. Would love to learn about where this breaks down in practice. Once again the over/under segment does not disappoint.
