39 Archivists turned out for our annual VA Caucus meeting in Lexington VA today
Thanks to everyone who participated, opened their stacks for tours, and who attended!

I was disturbed at work the other day, to have to fill in a Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference #MARAC form that asked if I thought the mother and children were at risk of #DV. This totally justifies the #genderedabuse agenda and ignores that men CAN be abused too.
We have been supporting Scottish Maracs through the #Marac Development Programme since 2015. For #16DaysOfActivism, we want to highlight a webinar from last year focusing on 15+ years of development, celebrating best practice, and looking at next steps. https://t.co/X5tUN4ejOc
If you're an archivist from Virginia, mark you calendar for our 2024 Virginia Caucus Meeting at Lexington Virginia.

Thanks to @MARACtweets, Saratoga Springs, and all those individuals who labored to make the fall 2023 conference a tremendous success.
The sessions, tours, caucus meetings, and other events were tremendous. I look forward to our next time meeting in person.

Well I'm assuming you all want to know how the #Marac went today.
Good and bad unfortunately.
The well its not good but everyone has classed me as at a #highrisk from my ex. Apparently last October I was classed as a #mediumrisk from my ex. So a few months after #FamilyCourt
I now have an #IDVA.
I've got markers and flags on my home.
A section 17 is finally being done for my #vulnerable child. Which I've asked #RCT council about for months and they refused.
All have recognised its my exes ongoing abuse #postseperation.
I'm no longer being seen as the problem.
He is for what he is doing.
The #psychologists reports were read out in the meeting yes the same ones that were in our #FamilyLaw case for all to see his abuse and ongoing control was impacting me.
I've been told I need to take it back to #FamilyCourt to protect me and my family and my vulnerable son from him doing this which family court #judges and @MyCafcass have aided and abetted.
Oh and to look at a non molestation order.
I currently have no #legalaid #nolegalsupport #nolegaladvice no #solicitor or #barrister. My son is at risk due to my ex and lack of communication.
I would have to tie it in with the case where it was all ignored.
I'm on PIP and ESA I have no money and no way to protect us currently from my ex continuing to do this.
So if anyone can #help please reach out.
