COT2 is calling for #Delta to reach a max intensity of 190 kts, which is 218 MPH, on Forecast Hour 60 as of the 00z run. Most models agreeing between Cat 3 and 4 with a couple of 5's over the next 24 hours. #MajorHurricaneDelta
Gulf Coast, you may not get as bad of wind impacts (for the moment) as the waters up by the shore are actually much cooler then they were a month ago, below 26 Celsius. But please monitor the progress of #MajorHurricaneDelta closely. #Delta
