The point isn’t even that they don’t see each other. That is just one of the several consequences of this disaster. The real point is that E & A are special bc they lived their everyday lives together and they chose that as something that makes them both happy. That’s the point.

I’m sorry but Elsa being completely alone while she is riding on a spirit that tried to kill her as she makes her way toward the ice tomb that was successful in killing her so she can watch all the memories of the past instead of making new ones is NOT a happy ending no (1)
