Rec sports are great. It allows kids of ages to get out of their comfort zone and have fun with their friends. #makerecgreatagain

I really think that playing for your town championship and an extra dollar at the concession stand is more fun than playing in the consolation round of the 12345 Every Other Weekend Semi Regional National Tournament. #maketraveltravelagain #makerecgreatagain

I love the game at the youth level. I’ve been involved in it for a long time. It’s not good right now. And I know I’ve been a part of the reason why it isn’t. Let’s fix it. Be a part of the solution #maketraveltravelagain #makerecgreatagain

I obviously can’t speak for the whole country. But I see it locally. Youth baseball (I’m talking 13u and under) is broken in Northeast Ohio. And it’s 💯not because of the kids. #maketraveltravelagain #makerecgreatagain

So many dads got mad at organizations like @OhBombersDave and started their own teams. It got watered down. In a bad way. Now every kid plays “travel”. And every team has 7 dads coaching. Stop. #maketraveltravelagain #makerecgreatagain

@RobBeahn was one of the best players I ever played with. Didn’t play on a travel team until he was 14. D1 catcher, so he did ok. #maketraveltravelagain #makerecgreatagain

Local rec leagues used to be so good. If a kid was legit good enough to play for a travel team, he did. Then all the other kids competed their ass off in the local league. #maketraveltravelagain #makerecgreatagain
