Here’s a quick look at part of Making Nuno at Japan House. This is a beautifully designed exhibition. The lighting and sound made it like being in a textile factory as a sort of ‘almost real’ film set. #makingnuno

'Manmaku' are long, horizontal curtains that are traditionally used in #Japan to partition off outdoor areas during special ceremonial events. This manmaku, part of our ongoing #MakingNuno exhibition, was created from 288 pieces of different fabric. https://t.co/6K4XeO7X5U
