6. "They know not... "
Knowledge is light. And, light is a metaphor for guidance, direction, and development.
Because God wants the #ManInChrist to be ever growing, He says to us in Colossians, to increase in the knowledge of God.
It's up to you, not God.
3. You'll only experience the liberties of God's kingdom to the degree of knowledge you've acquired. Without accurate knowledge, destruction is looming.
I didn't say so; we just read it.
It's your responsibility to increase in knowledge. The #ManInChrist has the tools.
2. Just to show you why this is really important, let's consider two scriptures. First, Hosea 4:6.
Popular verse, eh?
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..."
God didn't say sin was the problem. Or that His people didn't have enough power or grace.

1. In continuing with our study of Paul's epistle to the Colossians, let's consider the final part of chapter 1, verse 10.
"...and increasing in the knowledge of God."
The #ManInChrist is expected to grow in knowledge. Can you honestly say this is your life? If not, why not?
8. Look at Jesus, and the apostles. We don't find them complaining or making excuses, yet they worked in the harshest environments and produced results that are still relevant today.
If you're a #ManInChrist, that same grace is working in you. Declare it everyday.
Enjoy!
7. Insist on productivity. You're ordained for this life. This is how you bring God glory continually.
Eliminate distractions. Sharpen your focus. Prayerfully set your goals. Then insist on success and productivity. Be about results!
That's the life of the #ManInChrist!
4. See v. 8.
"Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear MUCH fruit..."
God's not glorified because you say, "I give you glory, Lord." Or because you sing of His glory.
If you want to glorify Him, produce much fruit. There's no excuse. The #ManInChrist
is graced for it.
3. John's gospel, 15th chapter. Consider v.16
"...I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit..."
Those are Jesus' words. The #ManInChrist is chosen and graced of God to always produce results, irrespective of the prevalent condition around him
2. This is the kind of thinking God wants the #ManInChrist to have. Always be result-oriented. When you want to start something, don't say, "What if it fails?"
That's not God's talk. He says you can be fruitful in every good work.
Not some. Every.
Let's see something else.
1. Continuing our study of Colossians as it relates to the #ManInChrist, let's consider v.10 of the first chapter.
"...being fruitful in every good work..."
Did you know it's possible to always be productive? That's what you want, right? It's available in Christ.
