#ManagementZone theory does NOT require that ALL variables in a zone be identical; that would result in zones that are unmanageably complex. Zones are intended to delineate and classify #YIELD LIMITING variables. For most of us, this means #soil #moisture and #fertility.

One of these #PrecisionAg #AgData layers makes agronomic sense in a #ManagementZone program; the other is just height above sea level. Relative wetness (surface drainage) is a valuable part of the mgmt zone equation. No ground-driven sensors used in this example. #SMARTZones
