That “quiet quitting” has become a thing is really interesting.
For some people work is just a job. You do it, you leave it, you live your life. For other people work is craft and mastery—it’s a large part of your identity and a big source of fulfillment
Both are totally fine.
Been teaching #ManagingWithAloha at the Waikōloa Resort this week, and I’ve newly appreciated that they’ve planted so many trees there, and have kept them thriving: it has been a very hot summer here, and the tree cover makes a huge difference… they’re rejuvenating.
I think about this too.
