Couldn’t disagree more with this…@Dame_Lillard is going through a divorce, life move, and being away from his kids. Quoting his salary means you equate happiness with $$$, stating how big his house is means you equate happiness with material possessions. This is classic #manbox policing of each other…instead of meeting him with compassion and empathy over real struggle, we want to check him back into the bs we’ve been sold should fulfill us as men.
Coaches: This aint it.
This is #manbox ideology masquerading itself as a coaching tactic.
You know where you can go, as an athlete or a coach, to have license to allow fighting and reason to track W/Ls of said fights? Combat sports. Feel free!
But, even on the gridiron, #coaches stress OVER & OVER again the need for #technique, #alignment, #fit...even in the TRENCHES, an all out bull rush wears thin if that is the only go to.
The game requires nuisance, LIFE requires nuisance, and no matter how big we pop our muscles, or how hard we try to "dominate" most problems, brute force rarely solves anything.
You can't have #valuesalignedbehavior without #emotionalfluency and you can't have #emotionalfluency without repping variations of the entire spectrum.
