That’s the idea behind MapMetrics:
a decentralized mapping project powered by its users
#MapMetrics is part of a growing movement called DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks).
Instead of relying on a company to gather map data, it uses a network of real people contributing data directly.
Over 60,000 users are helping build this map.
They collect info like:
