Good morning! For the past few days, I have been experiencing Lake Superior from different perspectives, spending my mornings, evenings, and nights near its shorelines. I have gone swimming in it, sat by its edge to reflect, and enjoyed food by its beautiful waters. Sometimes, I just bask in the sun while listening to the water sounds around me. Other times, I observe the birds flying over the lake, the waves creating beautiful circles, the water drops forming and dissolving bubbles, and the sand being shaped and reshaped. The trees around the lake are like ornaments, adding to the scenery and the beauty of the land and rocks. The endless natural beauty surrounding me is breathtaking. As I sit here, I also think of my home in the Yukon. Around 13 years ago, I made the out-of-the-box decision to relocate to the Yukon Territory. I was attracted to the remoteness, mysteries, mysticism, and magic of the Yukon wilderness, culture, environment, and the northern lights. I lived in Whitehorse for a few years and worked for the Government of the Yukon during that time. Then I moved further and decided to live in a rustic cabin without running water or plumbing, relying on an outhouse. Every day in the cabin is like camping, with the exception of electricity and internet. This lifestyle allowed me to strengthen my connection to the land, nature, and wilderness, which I showcased in my videos. When the pandemic hit, I used the nature around my cabin as a backdrop to share messages of joy, hope, and positivity with Canadians and the world. Now, as I sit here, gazing out at the vast Lake Superior, I am struck by the sheer power of this incredible body of water. It seems to stretch out as far as the eye can see, connecting me to the natural world in a way that is both humbling and awe-inspiring. I can see the sun slowly setting on the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the lake and the surrounding landscape. The sky above is a canvas of deep blues, purples, and oranges. From the rugged wilderness of Canada’s North to the stunning beauty of Lake Superior and beyond, I am grateful for the many ways in which nature's wonders touch my spirit. 🧡💦🙏🏽
