@mathsweekscot Yes! These ‘aerometrical beads’ were used to measure the density of liquids to establish their content and value for sale or tax 🫰🏼 They were patented by Isabella Lovi and won her a premium from the Highland Society of Scotland in 1816. #AskAMuseum #MathsInMuseums
