1. CAZ-AVI 2.5 gm
IV 8 hours and AZT 2 gm IV every 8 hours administered "simultaneously".
2. Preferred: 3-hour infusions of both agents.
3. CAZ-AVI AZT are Y-site compatible.

Middle-aged female presented to us w/ RUQ pain, nausea, diarrhea x1week. She had tachycardia, temp 100.2F, tender RUQ on exam. Pertinent labs: AST 78; ALT 119; Alk phos 228; Tbili 0.4.
