I spoke last week at a conference, giving mental health professionals a different perspective on journalists reporting on very sensitive issues. Some journalists are accused of being cold, heartless, uncaring when reporting at times. Perhaps this is why #journalism #mediastrong
Putting work out of office now. It's been an intense couple of months. I’m beyond exhausted. I went hard at it this year. Proud of myself with the PhD, book, our team rejigging the Journalism programme, #Mediastrong conference as well as the other stuff.

May 2024 - busy, brilliant, exhausting. My PhD work, celebrated my son’s birthday, held #Mediastrong in London, started writing my @irish_news column again, online masterclasses, final edits of my upcoming novel Perdition Street, waved goodbye to some of our amazing students #May
This week was hectic. I reached the summit of the marking mountain, got good work done on my PhD assessment, final edits done on my novel and saw its front cover (stunning 😍) made plans for #Mediastrong 2025. I’m going home now to lay in a dark room until we go again on Monday💪
