My 2x Grandparents are: #Mefford/#Turner, #Bastin/#Singleton, #Jones/#Jeffords, #White/#Bowers, #Blanford/#Nally, #LaRue/#Byrd, #Sandefur/#Moss, #Thompson/Nally. (Yes, my Nally lines are related. My maternal Grandparents were 3rd cousins through their Nally lines.)

So I made out a sheet that shows our relationship to Tom & Fred. It starts with our mutual ancestor, Andreas Meffert, who is my 8x Grandfather. He was the first #Meffert / #Mefford in America. We descend from his son, Casper. Whereas Tom & Fred desc. from his son, Johannes.

This tree starts with my 3x Grandpa, George Washington #Mefford. He was the son of Andrew Jackson Mefford and Catharine "Katie" Mefford. They were double first cousins who married. Their Dad's were brothers and their Mom's were sisters. Welcome to Kentucky, y'all. #Genealogy

My earliest #Mefford was my 8x G-Grandpa Andreas #Meffert who came to America in 1747. My earliest #Blandford came over before 1600. Unsure exactly when. I know 10x G-Gpa was born roughly 1611. Unsure if he was born England or Massachusetts. Died in Mass, though. https://t.co/BsgraRaptd
