Angela Stanton took time to come up on our Spaces and spoke deeply about the hypocrisy we’re all seeing but too often ignoring.
She highlighted how Reneé Rapp — a white woman — was allowed to openly encourage violence and glorify a Black man being stabbed.
In an interview that aired yesterday Reneé said - “Maybe we should be doing it more… maybe we should be stabbing more.”
If the situation was reversed, if a Black woman said something like this about a white man, the backlash would be immediate and severe. But when it’s Tory, it’s a joke to some, and silence to others.
