Yesterday (Sunday)I finished my shift at 10am, I’d been there since Friday 9am. Yesterday is classed as my day off; I woke up at work. I’d had a total of 7 hrs sleep in 48hrs and paid £3p/h for the privilege. Thanks #mencrap #awakeonasleepin

My third ‘sleep’ shift in a row and my final one for one whole day!! I’ve already been disturbed twice by the SU and once by the smoke detector (it was a faulty battery). I must be in the 1% that #mencrap claimed get disturbed #awakeonasleepin

My #sleepin shift started 9 minutes ago. @mencap_charity claim I’ve got a solid 9 hours sleep ahead of me... let me stop you right there #mencrap. I’ve still got paperwork and mopping floors to do, my SU has chosen to stay up (that’s his choice). My next 16hr shift starts at7 (1)

Started work at 9am yesterday and I’ve only just left. 27.5 hours at the average wage of £6.30ph. I’ve had less than 5 hours sleep and I’m told I have to count today as a day off. @mencap_charity enjoy your £200m #ShameOnMencap #awakeonasleepin #mencrap #MencrapGreed

@34marko @NIPatientVoice @unisontweets are in the process of appeal. To get the ruling changed, we too believe any time spent at work is working time and should be paid accordingly, however @mencap_charity disagree and think care work is easy and unskilled and we don’t deserve to be paid for it. #mencrap

I’m currently 27 hours in on a 49 hour shift, I’ve had 4hours of broken sleep. But at least for 18 of these hours I’m earning £3ph... right?? #awakeonasleepin #mencrap #payupmencap
