Last note: I am not promoting men in favor of women - many of these dudes make it a point, without making it a big deal, to boost non-male voices. That’s really important! But we need #menDoingTheWork to be visible role models - that matters so, so much. Thank you, dudes!

I’ll stop there for now - I want to add a few caveats. every one of these men may have also done horrible shit I don’t know about. May do horrible shit. They aren’t magical - they’re just #menDoingTheWork.

When I interviewed with @searls (2014) he largely asked my thoughts about visible women in tech. @puredanger turned strangeloop into a genuinely inclusive functional programming conf as others said “impossible!” @anildash 💚💚 Which #menDoingTheWork in tech have impressed you?
