For your #EmailSecurity, hereโs how you can stay one step ahead:
โ Tap the senderโs name to see the full email address, and look for small spelling changes.
โ Be wary of emails that rush you with words like โurgentโ or โwithin 24 hours.โ
โ Donโt click links in unexpected emails asking you to update KYC, claim a refund or reset your password.
โ Never enter your OTP, PIN or password on a page opened from an email link.
โ If youโre unsure, open the official app or website yourself, or call your bank on a number you already have.

#SessionAlert | As part of #MeriDigitalSuraksha, DSCI conducted in-person cybersecurity awareness sessions across Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR, engaging 100+ participants through practical conversations on cyber threats, digital safety and preventive measures.
From understanding common cybercrimes to discussing everyday online safety concerns, the sessions gave participants an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and learn simple ways to stay more secure in the digital world.
A few hours of conversation can go a long way in building greater awareness and confidence online. Because staying digitally safe begins with staying informed.
The initiative also offers a Meri Digital Suraksha Fundamental Guide, covering essential cybersecurity concepts, common scams, useful terminology and practical safety tips designed to help individuals navigate the digital world with greater confidence.

DSCI, in collaboration with @Optiv, launched #MeriDigitalSuraksha, a cyber safety awareness campaign for #seniorcitizens, at AFFWA (L), Air Force Station Jalahalli, Bengaluru.
The campaign commenced with an awareness session for the Sanginis of AFFWA, equipping citizens with practical knowledge and guidance to navigate the digital world safely and confidently. The launch was followed by the first Meri Digital Suraksha awareness session at Jal Vayu Heights, Jalahalli, engaging senior citizens with practical guidance on key areas of digital safety, including Digital Payment & Banking Safety, Email Security & Phishing, Social Media Safety, Deepfakes & AI-Based Scams, Privacy Protection, and Cybercrime Redressal.
The launch brought together representatives from DSCI, Optiv and AFFWA (L), with addresses by senior representatives, followed by the formal launch of Meri Digital Suraksha. The programme was joined by Mr. Maninder Bharadwaj, Vice President & Managing Director โ India, Optiv; Mr. Benildus Vincent, Chief of Operations Security, Optiv and Venkatesh Murthy. K, Vice President, DSCI. DSCI also acknowledges Mrs. Shweta Bhargava, President, AFFWA (L), for facilitating the programme at Air Force Station Jalahalli.
The campaign will continue through in-person awareness sessions, webinars and digital resources, helping senior citizens build the knowledge and confidence to identify, prevent and respond to cyber threats.
