The #Brisbane Marburg radar will be offline for up to 6 mths to begin its replacement with a new Doppler radar. There will be no impact to the Bureau’s forecasts and warnings. Alternate sources for rainfall awareness incl. Mt Staplyton, temporary Bris Airport radar and #Meteye.

A low-pressure system (remnants of #CycloneCharlotte) will move closer to the west coast over the weekend and drag tropical moisture south, resulting in a prolonged period of wet weather across western #WA. 20-40mm daily falls from #thunderstorms and rain possible. #MetEye
