#MIBBS Cross and Killer move in together, and become a little family with Abby and Grey, and live happily every after.
And Killer absolutely did not keep his promise, he haunted Abby's family for the rest of their lives.
~Fin
#MIBBS He's got a ton of power, a lot of sway, and when he says he wants the kid to stay, well, theres not a whole lot others could do.
#MIBBS Abby cries when she sees them. Clings to them, and promises she didn't want to leave. They know, and they love her, and they take her home.
They'll find a way to let her stay. Some loop hole.
In the end, its Nightmare.
#MIBBS And fetch her they do. They use every trick the have, turning out lights, blowing out bulbs, turning to smoke and fog. Its a weird night at the hospital, when everything stops working and a little girl goes missing.
#MIBBS He's too angry to even really explain, just that he needs that door. Nightmare knows this is going to give him a headache, but he's got a soft spot for them, and just gives them the door they need. Even watches Grey so they can go fetch Abby.
#MIBBS and Killer is so angry, he just keeps a firm grip on Cross's wrist as he drags him back home, Cross clinging to Grey while Killer storms to Nightmare's office. He doesn't ask, he *demands* that Nightmare get them a door.
#MIBBS Killer hisses before he pulls back, pulling all his magic and rage in with him, and storms back to Abby's room, to get Cross and Grey, and they're going to get Abby back.
#MIBBS The humans give him what he wants in seconds, the address, a hospital, where they left Abby. Killer and Cross's presence were to frightening, they had to get rid of her.
They had lied, of course, and dropped Abby off at some hospital.
Its all Killer needs to find her.
#MIBBS Give him that address, or else, Killer will haunt them for ever. He will never let them go, and what Cross could do, would never hold a handle to what Killer could do.
He's angry and motivated, and a force of will that humans should not trifle with.
#MIBBS Fog and shadows thicken, until its hard to see or breath. And Killer unleashes all his anger. He drags one of the humans, the man, into the shadows. He's snarling and vicious, and angry, when he demands to know where she is. All he needs is an address.
#MIBBS Killer never made a deal with Nightmare. Killer, who was scarier, is so angry, and he wants his kid back.
He unleashes all his power in the house.
The power goes out, the light bulbs break and outlets spark. The windows crack and floor boards lift up.
#MIBBS and it crushes Killer's heart. Because that was Killer's kid too. and it just hurts so much.
But where as Cross shut down, Killer gets *angry* because this wasn't fair.
#MIBBS "She's gone." he sobs. and Killer doesn't understand what that means.
"She's gone." he sobs again, grief so thick, and Killer hates watching him cry. "Her parents gave her away." is all Cross can get out, and it makes Killer ache.
And all he can get out is, Oh.
#MIBBS Until one night, months after that first encounter, Killer crawls into Abby's room, only to find Cross laying in her empty bed with just her cat.
Killer freezes, and everything is awful.
He hates seeing Cross crying.
#MIBBS It was like they were meant for each other, and for a while, things are okay. Good. They have a good life, for a while.
There are so many kisses they share, breathless, wonderful kisses, tasting each other.
They spend nights with Abby.
For a while they're happy.
#MIBBS Killer and Cross's first kiss is as much of a surprise to Killer as it is Cross.
Its so soft and lovely, and they share a breath before they dive in for each other, practically clawing at each other, and Cross can't believe they tumble into his bed.
#MIBBS They became a little family, and suddenly Killer found himself there too.
Its an odd feeling, to have a family too.
Killer fit in so well, like he was the missing piece of their puzzle.
#MIBBS Cross had convinced Nightmare, somehow, not to burn the door. To let Cross keep visiting the girl, and Nightmare wasnt normally a bleeding heart, but he had a soft spot of Cross.
Killer learns that Cross always wanted a family, and Abby needed someone in her corner.
#MIBBS they get to know each other, and Cross eventually tells Killer how he ended up meeting Abby. He was scaring her parents, and as he was crawling out of the closet, Abby was shoving him back inside to hide.
