The President will direct HHS to consider testing a dementia care model to include respite care. He will also direct hospital to provide more support for caregivers at discharge. This is an area they no one can understand totally until they live through the pain of a sick elderly dear one with no help for the caregiver. The love is strong and the pain is unbearable.
