We use #BrainGym with readers/writers of English, and also of Hebrew (right-left), Japanese, and Chinese, (top to bottom). Using the Cross Crawl, Lazy 8s, the Double Doodle, Alphabet 8s,...we support readers in accessing a wider #EyeSpan & faster, more fluent #MidlineCrossing.

Observe the difference between those 2 pictures. 1.This child moves his body to the left, the paper is at his right part of body. -> he hasn’t yet removed his midline. He is not ready for reading and writing. 2.The body is straight and the paper is in the middle. #MidlineCrossing

#MidlineCrossing gives us access to the visual/auditory/tactile/kinesthetic midfield — the basic tenet behind the #BrainGym program. Here's a terrific article on it.
