No customs issues! 😁👍 Already owning a #Minstrel3, I cannot be surprised but still impressed by the QUALITY of this kit: the PCB is a masterwork and components are neatly presented! Kudos to @tynemouthsw and @futurewas8bit! This deserves a good beer 😉🍺

On the #ZX80 is not that simple... but despite the totally different approach, performance is just the same as the #ZX81. GO SUBs weren't really needed, just used them for (hopeless) code legibility... #Minstrel3 #TheFutureWas8bit #retrocomputing

Giant characters on the #Sinclair #ZX81. Simple code, but pretty slow (5 chars take ~7.5 seconds in FAST mode). #Minstrel3 #TheFutureWas8bit #retrocomputing

#ZX81 can't run code in the upper 32K... unless bit 6 of the opcode is set! #Minstrel3 runs OK at, say, A=9000 (results 8999 b/c the DEC BC) but not at A=39000 (returns 39000 as DEC BC is *not* executed (d6 is clear). #TheFutureWas8bit
