๐จ Police Scotland have found no criminality relating to the finances of Yes Scotland.
It comes after a newspaper report claimed there was ยฃ1.5m 'missing' from the pro-independence group's accounts

Stark reminders of daily interference by @BBCScotlandNews / #MisReportingScotland politicising Covid pandemic
Recurring theme "why can't Scotland be more like England?"
Tories partied while people died & @ScottishLabour tried to block updates because @NicolaSturgeon too good!!
The UK Covid Inquiry made one glaring mistake. It failed to examine the broadcast media. Public conformity was essential in containing the virus and people were steered by what they heard on TV and Radio.
BBC Scotland politicised the pandemic and put thousands of lives at risk. It smeared the FM, misled the public by continually framing Scotland's vaccination programme as failing and regularly undermined guidelines & messaging.
Disgusting from Laura Maciver and Martin Geissler this morning as both deliberately tried to link the Scottish NHS to a potential shortage of private flu jags despite both knowing fine well the NHS was not connected in any way and already had a full stock. This is just dishonest.
@gregmoodie The anti-Scotland propaganda will definitely be reduced if @BBCScotlandNews / #MisreportingScotland suffers cuts
Today's #TheSundayShow says it all about #BBCbias & #MisReportingScotland
Only parties represented were Tories (R Findlay twisting every question to attack @theSNP), plus Labour & Reform debating #Brexit, both agreeing no #indyref2 anytime soon
No attempt at balance
Quintessential BritNat Broadcasting from @BBCScotlandNews / #MisreportingScotland
Mentions cost of @theSNP policy of delivering free hospital parking
Mentions payments part of #PFI deal
But does NOT mention this is a Scottish Labour ๐ฅ PFI contract
We ๐ you
Operator paid more than ยฃ10m to keep parking free at Edinburgh hospital https://t.co/AYehKAnT5N
Well done @STVColin for continuing to challenge politicians - whether they support #ScottishIndependence or not
Likewise Bernard Ponsonby
They would never get employment at @BBCScotlandNews / #MisReportingScotland for exactly that reason
Michael Marra says he was sidelined by Anas Sarwar and Jackie Baillie during the Holyrood election campaign yet is still keeping Baillie on as Deputy leader. Is Marra being baby-sat by Baillie? Could it be he isn't just a puppet, but Baillie's puppet? London controls Baillie and Baillie controls Marra.
#TheSundayShow has been unwatchable for a long time
The very worst of @BBCScotlandNews / #MisReportingScotland
Thankfully as their viewing figures drop, fewer Scots are likey to be influenced by their #ScottishCringe #SNPbad propaganda
Broadcasting is Reserved - for a reason
This is what full-blown colonial broadcasting looks like. This was The Sunday Show on BBC Scotland.
Scotland bad, England better, Scotland violent, England superior, Scotland skipping school, England perfect, Learn from England. England ... England ... Be England. Copy England.
@BBCScotlandNews / #MisReportingScotland have form on this
So keen to report comparisons when Scotland performs worse than England, but when Scotland performs better, any problems with results are presented as unique to Scotland, no comparisons
To put this in context, the PISA reading scores for 2025 were as follows:
England 497
Scotland 488
Northern Ireland 482
Wales 459
OECD average 461 The English scores were inflated by the exclusion of 12.2% of schools (such as Special Needs) ๐คทโโ๏ธ https://t.co/82al1TCSa5
@StephenFlynnSNP Bernard Ponsonby totally outclasses all those "journalists & reporters" at @BBCScotlandNews/#MisReportingScotland
What's the BBC ever done for us?
Heavily filtered news - what they cover, how they cover it
In Scotland, a ridiculous degree of bias against @theSNP & #ScottishIndependence by @BBCScotlandNews / #MisReportingScotland, even if that means endlessly negative portrayal of Scotland
BBC presenter Katty Kay has been rapped by her bosses after referring to the genocide in Gaza https://t.co/F1yqU5Ghdm
Shocking hatchet job on Scotland's largest city by @BBCScotlandNews / #MisreportingScotland
String of unrelated negative issues, no context to compare Birmingham etc, no#PFI, no positivity
Normally someone should be fired, but negativity to Scotland & Scot Gov IS their culture
Everything about the BBC's Glasgow documentary, from its insistence on throwing together unrelated issues to its blatant platforming of racist propaganda demands a detailed explanation, Richard Walker writes โ๏ธ

Glasgow far from lawless, not even close to being worst city in UK
I remind Kerr that scenes repeated many times by @BBCScotlandNews / #MisreportingScotland of balaclava-masked thugs running riot were incited to travel (some from England) to anti-migration demo by #RefUK & pals
John Swinney has found time today to make a snide political point, but remains silent on the state of Scotland's largest city.
For months I've warned about the tensions and crime in our city but been ignored.
Glasgow is lawless - and make no mistake, it's on you @JohnSwinney.
Allegedly somebody those far-right idiots came many miles (even from England) to try to incite violence in Glasgow
Not investigated by @BBCScotlandNews / #MisreportingScotland
The hatchet job on Glasgow by the BBC showed just how easy it is for the station to manufacture news. Someone stood in St Enoch Square at night, spliced his footage with right-wing social media clips, added news clips of a racist protest and hey presto - 'lawless Glasgow'.
It's cheap and lazy and certainly not what you'd expect from a national broadcaster. But that's just it. The BBC isn't Scotland's national broadcaster, which is why Myles Bonnar was commissioned to make Glasgow look as bad as possible.
We wonder what @MylesBonnar himself privately feels about the depiction of Glasgow. Was it appropriate to have images of thugs in balaclavas with the caption "Welcome to Glasgow"? Does Myles truly believe the city is lawless? Is St Enoch Square really a no-go area?
Is the truth a little less melodramatic in that Glasgow, like all major cities, has low level crime that's tolerated by police and small pockets you'd be best to avoid late at night or in the early hours? Zombie apocalypse? Really?

@msm_monitor 5 most dangerous cities in Europe,
Bradford , England,
Marseille, France,
Coventry, England,
Birmingham, England,
Naples, Italy.
And guess who will never mention any time Burnham follows Scottish Govt policies?
That's right - @BBCScotlandNews / #MisreportingScotland
Andy Burnham announces 24/7 free bus travel for eligible disabled people. 20 years after Scotland.
Not the first time Westminster has caught up with a policy Scotland already had. And I'm sure it won't be the last. The SNP inherited it in 2007 - and has kept funding it ever since.
1 April 2006: Scotland-wide free bus travel launched under Transport Minister Tavish Scott, a Liberal Democrat in the LabourโLib Dem coalition.

Seems that "a European journalist" has a better perspective than the house-jocks at Pathetic Quay
I am proud of my city of Glasgow
I am disgusted by @BBCScotlandNews / #MisreportingScotland
A European TV journalist has called out the BBC, accusing it of 'selective' reporting on Glasgow that shows the city through 'the darkest lens'
It came after the broadcaster ran the headline 'Drugs, violence and racism: A week in Glasgow city centre' ๐

@BBCScotlandNews / #MisreportingScotland going full #SNPbad #GlasgowBad tonight
Platformed racist "vigilante"
No mention of English involvement in anti-immigration riots - far-right racist thugs
The BBC has had in in for Glasgow ever since the SNP won control of the city from Labour. Here's Kaye Adams two years ago traducing the city and suggesting it needs an elected mayor. Which party pledged an elected mayor? Labour. The GlasgowBad narrative is political propaganda.
#MisreportingScotland has studiously failed to report schisms over Scottish Labour Branch Office Manager election
Just as they failed to cover gross hypocrisy of #SleekitSarwar dumping that job to become #VerminInErmine
But a wee whiff of disagreement in @theSNP? All over it!
Sturgeon's criticisms of Swinney reveal tensions in SNP ranks https://t.co/BSFuTLBK00
It's the @BBCScotlandNews / #MisReportingScotland way
Skim over or miss altogether good news
Focus on any defects (make up if necessary)
Improving attainment gap? Missed target!
Improving results? Slipping standards!
Make EVERYTHING political - devolved areas only
We see you!
How good were the exam results yesterday? The fact that Radio Scotland Breakfast hasn't had a single dedicated item this morning should give you a clue. The only mention thus far has been BritNat newspaper attacks on the SNP read out by Laura Maciver.
