"๐น๐๐๐": Ray Charles version
------------------------
"๐น๐๐๐" is the 1952 theme ๐ถ๐ต song for the ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ฌ ๐๏ธ film "๐น๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐" starring #JenniferJones , written by #MitchellParish and #HeinzRoemheld . There were 6๏ธโฃ chartered versions of the ๐ถ๐ต song in 1953.
The theme enjoyed much popularity in orchestral recordings by #LesBaxter , with harmonica solo by #DannyWelton , #VictorYoung And His Singing Strings with #GeorgeFields on harmonica , #RichardHayman And His Orchestra with Richard Hayman on harmonica, and #JerryMurad and the #Harmonicats .

Ray Charles sings "๐น๐๐๐" From ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ฌ ๐๏ธ film "Tre Passi Nel Delirio" By #FedericoFellini , #LouisMalle , and #RogerVadim .
Ray Charles Robinson Sr. (September 23, 1930 โ June 10, 2004) was an American #singer , #songwriter and ๐น #pianist . He is regarded as one of the most iconic and influential singers in history, and was often referred to by contemporaries as "The Genius". Among friends and fellow musicians he preferred being called "Brother Ray". Charles was blinded during childhood, possibly due to glaucoma.
Charles pioneered the soul ๐ถ๐ต music genre during the 1950s by combining blues, jazz, rhythm and blues, and gospel styles into the music he recorded for Atlantic Records. He contributed to the integration of country music, rhythm and blues, and pop music during the 1960s with his crossover success on #ABCRecords , notably with his two Modern Sounds albums. While he was with #ABC , Charles became one of the first black musicians to be granted artistic control by a mainstream record company.
Charles's 1960 hit "Georgia On My Mind" was the first of his three career No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. His 1962 album Modern Sounds In Country And Western Music became his first album to top the Billboard 200. Charles had multiple singles reach the Top 40 on various Billboard charts: 44 on the US R&B singles chart, 11 on the Hot 100 singles chart, 2 on the Hot Country singles charts.
Charles cited #NatKingCole as a primary influence, but his ๐ถ๐ต music was also influenced by #LouisJordan and #CharlesBrown . He had a lifelong friendship and occasional partnership with #QuincyJones .
#FrankSinatra called #RayCharles "the only true genius in show business," although Charles downplayed this notion. #BillyJoel said, "This may sound like sacrilege, but I think Ray Charles was more important than #ElvisPresley ".
For his ๐ถ๐ต musical contributions, Charles received the #KennedyCenterHonors , the #NationalMedalOfArts , and the #PolarMusicPrize . He was one of the inaugural inductees at the #RockAndRollHallOfFame in 1986. He has won 18 #GrammyAwards (5 posthumously), the #GrammyLifetimeAchievementAward in 1987, and 10 of his recordings have been inducted into the #GrammyHallOfFame . Rolling Stone ranked Charles No. 10 on their list of the 100 #GreatestArtistsOfAllTime , and No. 2 on their list of the 100 #GreatestSingersOfAllTime . In 2022, he was inducted into the #CountryMusicHallOfFame , as well as the #BlackMusicAndEntertainmentWalkOfFame .
He died at his home in Beverly Hills, California, of complications resulting from liver failure, on June 10, 2004, at the age of 73. His funeral took place on June 18, 2004, at the First African Methodist Episcopal Church of Los Angeles, with numerous musical figures in attendance.
#BBKing , #GlenCampbell , #StevieWonder and #WyntonMarsalis each played a tribute at the funeral. He was interred in the Inglewood Park Cemetery.

Song: ๐น๐๐๐
Film: ๐น๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐
------------------------
"๐น๐๐๐" is the 1952 theme ๐ถ๐ต #song for the ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ฌ ๐๏ธ #film "๐น๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐" starring #JenniferJones , written by #MitchellParish and #HeinzRoemheld .
Lyrics โฌ๏ธ :
They say, Ruby, you're like a dream
Not always what you seem
And though my heart may break when I awake
Let it be so, I only know
Ruby, it's you
They say, Ruby, you're like a song
You just don't know right from wrong
And in your eyes I see heartaches for me
Right from the start, who stole my heart?
Ruby, it's you
I hear your voice and I must come to you (Must come to you)
I have no choice, so what else can I do? (What else can I do?)
They say, Ruby you're like a flame
Into my life you came
And though I should beware, still I just don't care
You thrill me so, I only know
Ruby, it's you
(I hear your voice and I must come to you)
(I have no choice, what else can I do? What can I do?)
They say, Ruby you're like a flame
Into my life you came
And though I should beware, still I don't care
You thrill me so, I only know
Ruby, it's you
(She's the Ruby)

-----------------------
The ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ฌ ๐๏ธ film is a black-and-white, "steamy, swamp-based drama" directed by #KingVidor , set in a small North Carolina town. ----------------
Jennifer Jones as Ruby Gentry: The complex and sultry titular character.
Charlton Heston as #BoakeTackman : The scion of a leading family whom Ruby loves but who wouldn't marry her due to her social standing.
Karl Malden as #JimGentry : The town's rich, older man whom Ruby marries after his invalid wife dies.
#BernardPhillips ( #BarneyPhillips ) as the Yankee doctor (narrator).
#JamesAnderson as Ruby's religious fanatic brother.
