#Hyderabad: #Telangana Minister @seethakkaMLA wins #interimrelief in #defamationcase over alleged #mobilephonescam posts. A Hyderabad City Civil Court has directed removal of social media posts accusing Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka of #corruption in the purchase of smartphones for #Anganwadi workers under Poshan Abhiyaan. The court observed that the posts shared on X, @facebook and Instagram did not prima facie reflect the actual tender process and could damage the minister’s reputation. According to court records, 38,130 smartphones were procured through a tender awarded to the lowest bidder, with the total contract valued at ₹44.42 crore. The posts had alleged a ₹30 crore scam in the purchase. The court issued an interim mandatory injunction directing immediate deletion of the posts.
