People are missing the bigger picture. #Modscription + #Coordinals = #BitcoinVirtualMachine You use a #Bitcoin TX to tell your ordinal to do something (user input/command). Not only does your ordinal respond to you, but other people's ordinals respond to you and your ordinal's behaviour. You use a #Bitcoin TX to tell your ordinal to do something (user input/command). Not only does your ordinal respond to you, but other people's ordinals respond to you and your ordinal's behaviour. And it's not just you inputting these commands, it's everyone who owns such #OnchainInteractiveOrdinals.

Ordinals don't need to be static assets, they can act as keys, or access points, granting their owner the power to interact with the entire ecosystem. Ordinals can be #InteractiveAndImmutable at the same time. Once these behaviors are inscribed, they will continue to function autonomously forever.

On this second #BitcoinBonsai I started, two additional aspects of the collections. The first by deliberate choice to use ordinals/ord to inscribe directly. This Bonsia has three modification inscriptions (#modscription's) made through via my local ord client rather than using https://t.co/a32sBJp7U7. Because of a reported issue with ord, I couldn't inscribe on the same sat, so in this case, the canvas and the mods are separate sats. Each sat could be reinscribed on so this turns out to be the basis for collaborative espaliering. The second feature was incidental to chain sensing features in Bonsai's. Notice there is no leaf on the right branch there. I happened to hit the difficulty adjustment period and the collection does something interesting herein! How do you grow #BitcoinBonsai via #modscription? I chose an existing branch (Image 1) and inscribed a 🧡 emoji as its child. The extended branch was visible as soon as the transaction confirmed (Image 2). Next I inscribed a ↔️ emoji to push the new branch further left (Image 3).

#Modscription-enabled collections require a precision minting process. Target sats are initially split and realigned in precursor TXs. Ord's batch function then inscribes a set of unique files, each with an ID specific to its designated sat. Other projects are beginning to inquire about the process and its use cases. It's only a matter of time before modscription becomes an expected feature for #ordinals collections. @btcordinal @AntiSocialFrogs
