Seriously, forecasts have gone up to as much as 100 bp in Fed rate hikes by July, and in February the Fed is still adding liquidity to the system. QE is still underway with 7.5% CPI. Seriously?

They all missed to the downside. #CPI came in higher than every one of these estimates @NorthmanTrader. BTW, the Fed still has QE underway. The Fed is still contributing to higher inflation.
And, here we are in February @biancoresearch and the Fed is still buying assets. Still has QE underway.

The market now has 6 hikes priced in over the 7 FOMC meetings remaining in 2022.
Also, note the market has 5 hikes priced in for the next 5 meetings.
And the probability of 50bps hike in March is 29%
The consensus STILL cannot catch up to market pricing.
Keep in mind that with strong jobs numbers, 2s to 10s yields spiking higher, pundits forecasting 5 to 8 rate hikes in 2022, the Fed is still buying assets in February. They still have not even halted QE.
