2% is a lot, last number I saw here was upwards of 700,000 acres. Thats not a drop in the bucket. These fires are devastating in that area of my State. Thats where a lot of the cattle are. They arent in the East side of the State. Lets not forget areas like Kansas still recovering from thousands of cattle dropping dead in the summer a few years back. We are already pushed to where the President needed to have beef come in from Argentina to try and help with the prices, then this happens. Its going to affect everyone nationwide. Period.
