Another Florida #ParksOnTheAir reference marked off the list. #MoundKey. Activation from the top of a 30’ tall Indian shell midden. Great time. Even had a P2P with @johnnyw5kv who also used his Kayak to get it done. #AmateurRadio #Hamradio #KayakMobile #KN4MQR

Looking forward to it. Im paddling out to #ParksontheAir reference #MoundKey on Saturday morning. I don’t think I’ll be MM but maybe we will get lucky and have a #KayakMobile to mobile QSO. Good luck and 73 #AmateurRadio #HamRadio

500 years ago, #Calusa Native Americans were piling shells across #SWFL, constructing an empire. That shell mound site is now called #MoundKey & that's where I'm standing here w/ @fgcu's Dr. Michael Savarese. Why does any of this matter to you? Watch @NBC2 @6 & I'll explain!
