I just used #Movetodon to connect with those here that are on Mastodon that I hadn't already followed. Ended up being about 300 people or so out of 5000.
In one week Twitter is closing their API to unpaid access. Likely Mastodon migration tools like #movetodon and crossposters like #moa will stop working.
