This week I tweeted about Spike, who started at #StHelens JCP on #MovementtoWork. He discovered he could develop a good rapport with public. Enrolled on a SWAP for @NHSNW & began a placement at a Health centre. Spike now offered a full time job! Great news! Well done Spike!!
1/ Delighted with the successes we are seeing from #MovementtoWork for young people aged 16-30, in receipt of benefits & not in education, employment, or training (NEET). Quality placements provide work experience, giving the skills & confidence to hugely improve job prospects.
Last week we took a group of #YoungCarers to the #MovementToWork Youth Summit 2022. The group spoke with employers about how they can better support young people's career pathways.
