Oh look, another story about a person in a position of authority abusing their power and engaging in illegal behavior. Because clearly, that's what we need more of in this world, stories about teachers behaving inappropriately. #SoUplifting #MuchPositive. And let's not forget that this band teacher drove all the way from Texas to Virginia for this illegal activity, because clearly, he had nothing better to do with his time or resources. #SoEfficient #NotWasteful. But seriously, it's kind of appalling that this story is even being reported on, let alone that it happened in the first place. But hey, maybe this will serve as a reminder that teachers should be held to higher standards and that schools should be doing more to protect their students. #SoNecessary #NotSensationalist.
