In many British cities now, there is no British culture left to integrate into. Walk around parts of London or Birmingham or Leicester and you will feel like you are walking around an interactive museum.
The buildings will look British and the pubs will be open, but the sensibilities of the people who walk the streets will be entirely alien, as they even fail at the most trivial and obvious tests of British etiquette, such as queuing for buses.
These minority cultures were simply allowed to grow in apathy and in some quarters, open hostility to the host customs. No incentives were placed on new arrivals to integrate, as they could always find a ghetto of their own people and culture, that would have made no demands for them to change or even provide incentives to learn English.
There is no justifiable reason why people who cannot speak English should be living in the UK, especially when as @RupertLowe10
shows here, the absurd additional costs that it puts on our services.
It’s difficult to watch your country being ruined by people who have no respect for or interest in its history, its culture or its heritage. We have been betrayed by weak, corrupt politicians, who do not have the courage or the integrity to stand up for the British people.
