The Sun is the largest, cleanest power source available to humanity and Space is the most efficient place to harness it. 🌞 ❤️ @elonmusk @Grok 🌎 🚀 🚀 🚀 #MissionSun #Multiplanetory As global energy demand accelerates, space-based solar power emerges as a frontier technology capable of delivering uninterrupted clean energy from orbit. Space-Based Solar Power (SBSP) is a frontier space technology designed to deliver continuous, clean and massive energy to Earth by harvesting the Sun’s power in space free from atmospheric loss, weather and day night limits. Using high-efficiency multi-junction solar cells (GaAs) mounted on kilometer-scale, ultralight, modular structures, SBSP systems can capture unprecedented energy levels. Innovations like roll-out/inflatable arrays, modular tiles (as demonstrated by Caltech’s MAPLE experiment) and solar concentrators drastically reduce launch mass and enable scalable deployment. Collected solar energy is converted into electricity and transmitted wirelessly to Earth via microwave power transmission (2.45 GHz phased-array beams) the most mature and weather resilient approach or via laser beaming for niche and space-to-space use. On Earth, large reactions safely and efficiently convert this energy back into usable power with minimal land impact and compatibility with existing grids. Artificial Intelligence is the critical enabler autonomously managing massive structures, precision beam steering, thermal control, fault detection and energy routing. AI transforms SBSP from raw power generation into solar intelligence, enabling real-time optimization and resilience. Orbital strategy matters: LEO is ideal for demonstrations and early services, while GEO is the endgame for true 24/7 baseload power. Together with Earth-based AI initiatives like Google’s Project Sunroof, which optimizes rooftop solar adoption, SBSP creates a hybrid Earth-space energy ecosystem linking space-scale solar abundance with real-world clean-energy deployment. Competitors Sun Space Technology Space solar technology is being explored by NASA, ESA, ISRO, CNSA, and JAXA, with research support from Caltech and UK programs. SpaceX and Blue Origin enable launch and infrastructure, while Google and other Big Tech firms contribute AI and data expertise. Bottom line: The best way to harness the Sun at civilization scale is not just more panels, but AI-driven, space-based solar infrastructure a planetary level energy system comparable to the electric grid or the internet in transformative impact. Space based solar power is a global race, but no clear winner yet. The breakthrough will come from integrating solar harvesting, wireless power transmission and AI at orbital scale whoever achieves this first will define the future of clean energy and space leadership. Wow great video created by Grok and Me to make Sun Space Technology in real Universe ❤️❤️❤️

I don't know about future, but I can see that one day we will terraform the #MARS & will become #Multiplanetory species.
