His tail is up, he’s had his steroids & here he is on a big walk before breakfast making those all important memories for as long as we can

We decided to try some massage therapy on Murphy to see if we can ease the swelling in his left hind leg (It helped Roxy massively) - 2 sessions in and we’re pleased to say the swelling has indeed gone down considerably. 🥰

Hello everyone & apologies for the radio silence - Murphy had picked up a serious infection due to his immune system being shot to pieces because of his cancer - He had a big antibiotic injection, he’s home & as you can see he’s very comfortable 😊

A trip to the vet about the severe swelling in Murphy’s back left leg & also check out the front right leg which he’s now lame on - As feared - The cancer has now really taken hold & he’s in pain.
He’s home he has painkillers & we have a decision to make 😢

Not a good day for Mr Murphy today
He didn’t want to get out of bed this morning & he’s been off his food too
Noticed some significant swelling around the elbow joint of his back left leg which doesn’t look at all good
We’ll just be monitoring him today☹️

Murphy has had a really good 48hrs; The sunshine gives him strength & purpose to carry on - He loves the outdoors, being with his Mum & Lola

Having a down day again today & taken himself off up to one of the bedrooms & won’t come down
He ate a full breakfast but it was too rainy for a walk so we think maybe he just wants some peace & quiet

Murphy didn’t want to get up this morning he’s hardly eaten & the swelling in his lymph nodes around his neck have worsened severely as you can see from the profile pic
We did manage to get him out to his favourite spot by the stream
