@diksha_21 @priyadeshingkar Thank you so much for sharing this, Diksha. I probably need to revisit this work, as the decadent #agrarian sector and the #majoritarian onslaught has thrown up new challenges before #dalits and #mahadalits like #Musahars.

2.5 million #Musahars (originally #Adivasi from Chhotanagpur) were brought into the caste fold to ensure cheap labour in paddy growing areas of #Bihar, 400yrs ago. They all became #Untouchables! Any idea, why? Forgot to embrace them after converting them? #CasteMatters #SouthAsia
