Until you have captured 5x or 10x.
This is going to be a long thread so bookmark it if you want to read later but believe me this can work for you , I wont say will๐
โด So how to enter ?
โด When to add more?
โด How to ride the full trend?
First step is easy, anyone can enter but the next 2 steps is the real game.
โโโโโ---The Process ---โโโโโ
Step 1:
Scan the 52w high stocks from the list (easy - any app like @Trendlyne will give you the list on daily basis)
Step 2:
Pick the small/midcap stocks that made a fresh 52w high after few months of corrections/fresh from base
Step3:
Enter with your position size(diff for each , eg:20%) and keep stoploss based on your risk mgmt sys.
Now common confusions that knock us out of position!
โด The real question is when to add more?
โด Generally people add when it comes to 20/50/200 ma's, But most times stocks don't sustain and come even lower
โด So how do we know when the pullback/correction is over ?
Answer : You don't!
Just add new positions at monthly closing if it is above previous month closing. Once you see a monthly closing below previous month(red candle), wait for it until it makes a fresh 52w high and then follow same process. That all!
Sounds simple but this is how it is. Lets back test now. I have only done for few, you can try and let me know if its working or not for your fav multibaggers!
Examples I tested : 1s entry and adding
1. Jwl from June21 monthly closing
2. Zomato from Apr23 monthly closing
3. Glenmark from Feb23 monthly closing
4. Hpl from Oct22 monthly closing
5. Cochinship from Aug22 monthly closing( this one is the best example since it went to correction in monthly tf from Dec22 to May23 - 6months where we did not add new positions at all)
Limitation: Waiting period when stock going in correction/consolidation for months
Advantage: Simple Pyramiding method
I know many of you would say holding in monthly is difficult and waiting for months of consolidation is not practical but this thread is made for catching 10x & more not swing/positional.
Sometimes you would have to exit if you think its in consolidation /correction for too long/stop hits but every system has draw backs.
Request your honest feedback/comments/your own views so if anything is missed I can correct it. Even if you think this might not work i am okay๐
