If you're interested in doing this at your local march, please get in touch (with either me or reach out to @RadioWatermelon).
And if you're interested in helping us fund more of this - well, you can. Just go donate here to our #MutualAidFund - either one-off... https://t.co/yJLreynBXA ๐
Or if you can, monthly. https://t.co/wZFE4MtfFg ๐
We're proud to have funded this effort through our #MutualAidFund with the consensus of our @ActionApartheid assembly.
We hope to see others replicate this method if it has any success at all for the families in Palestine we hope to raise funds for.
Taking these marching on Saturday and enlisting some folk to walk and talk with them. We're not handing these out so much as asking for on the spot donations, pledges to donate come payday, and getting followers for these families and @RadioWatermelon - who designed them. ๐๐ต๐ธโค๏ธ
@TheDryhtscipe @OfSymbols If it was somehow a gift (or a lot of them), 50% would go to the #MutualAidFund, of course. So we couldn't spend ยฃ30 million on elections unless you gave us about... maybe ยฃ60 odd million...?
The #MutualAidFund also helps support @HarmonyPartyUK assemblies like ours to carry out actions - or print posters to be handed out to shops and businesses.
And we all pay it forward to everyone else doing activism in the movement when we can.
๐ซถ We want to do a lot of good. That's why 50% of subs go to the #MAF (Mutual Aid Fund).
It won't be used for politics - only on action that makes change. Now. Today. In our communities - together.
๐ชฟ A little goes a long way. If you can, please give.

@indynetco @RPM17IG If I may, just a one day, worldwide strike will show them we mean business. Anything longer than that would definitely require a #MutualAidFund.
160/300 thank you so very much friends, weโre already half way there! ๐๐ช #MutualAidFund
Our #MutualAidFund pays the fees for the #EmergencyPaymentFund but it's also there for other purposes: for funding any and all aid actions undertaken by any of our Party assemblies, for a start. Give today - we'll always pay it forward:

We have today donated ยฃ55.60 from the #MutualAidFund to the #EmergencyPaymentFund to cover recent fees incurred and to ensure that every single penny donated by the public to the EPF ends up in the pockets of people who need it.
We're fighting the #CostOfLivingCrisis today.
Our #MutualAidSociety is a democratic assembly that acts in support of marginalised communities.
The Mutual Aid Fund pays for that action, and relies partly on donations.
You can give to the #MutualAidFund via our #OpenCollective:

In the last ten months the EPF has redistributed ยฃ2,331 to those struggling with the #CostOfLivingCrisis, with all fees covered by our separate #MutualAidFund (which is partly funded by members subs).
As of today for the month of April the #EmergencyPaymentFund has received ยฃ235. Payouts remain totalling ยฃ120, leaving about ยฃ2.86 to spare. There is 1 remaining request on the fund for ยฃ20 currently, which will be rejected at midnight if we can't fund it today.
You have again (boringly) confused the #MutualAidFund with the #EmergencyPaymentFund. Different things. In fact, the MAF regularly donates to the EPF.
The Mutual Aid Society can give from the Fund to whoever it chooses by consensus. That's called democracy.
