#MyFirstComicsGig Yeah, so rewind back to 1989 and Aircel Comics’ Dragonforce for me, finishing up Dale Keown’s last story there. It took me 18 years after that, with the help of doing a 2003 Eisner-nominated indie book, before my first work with DC. Perseverance, y’all.

#MyFirstComicsGig was in 2014! Jasmine Amiri contacted me after seeing my stuff on Deviantart. No Sequentials at all, but I accepted an audition offer and got the gig! 💪

Seeing the hashtag #MyFirstComicsGig trending, so here's mine: Worked on issues 12 and 13 of the Archie Sonic Boom tie-in books. I was SO excited to finally break into the comics industry with a published work. The series got cancelled after issue 11. LOL
