A7 At book club at BMS we must read New Kid. It is a graphic novel that deals with some mature issues of race and micro aggressions. The content was challenging but they loved it! We had some great conversations! #NCSchat
A6: this year I selected text that fit with our SS units but were also unfamiliar to students. They listen to the novel at their listen to reading station and we tie it back into our SS content. #NCSchat
