I've been reading a shitload about the possible appointment of outside assessors for the NDIS (lemme guess...another privatised contract with some useless clots) & I'm keen to hear experiences from the pilot run, which i believe was about 500 ppl? #ndiscrawl
Just think: same dudes who raised $1 billion in false debts, killing 2000, want to fundamentally change the #NDIS - into a worker's comp style system. This model has reduced access to the DSP by up to 80%; a similar model in the UK caused 10,800 deaths.

We gotta keep this in mind -
1) When we #RaisetheRateforGood we must make the disability pension minimum wage. It's barely more than modest rent in capital cities.
2) The DSP shows that proposed changes to the #NDIS will make it significantly harder to access. #ndiscrawl
It's REALLY expensive to be disabled. Extremely. #Disabled folks have been speaking out on this for decades, but it's far worse than I thought, and I'd believed I'd been listening. Please hear disabled people. They are us. They are all around you. They may well be you one day.

Today the .@NDIS broke me completely. I’ve spent 16 weeks, after my access was approved, continually battling to confirm my plan.
To this day still no plan. What truly broke me is the level of contempt displayed by the worker I spoke with today #NDIScrawl
