Currently there is no way to swap btc to xmr in your browser without giving up trusting someone, either big exchanges like kraken or instant swap platforms with trusted rating But the truth is you have to trust someone. btx-xmr atomic swaps currently exist on desktop, where user needs to install a desktop app and use it. But that reduces the UX and simplicity of just swapping from your browser We ported the btc-xmr atomic swaps to the browser while still keeping its crystallographic guarantee, meaning you don't have to trust anyone before you swap btc - xmr not even us because we don't hold your keys We have processed over 50+ btc-xmr Atomic Swaps so far on miradex and there is just one hard rule that you cannot break Keeping the browser open till the swap completes On Average it takes about 50-60 mins for the swap to complete. The tab has to be kept open and frequently refreshed to avoid it sleeping This isn't the best UX, but its the price you pay for truly non custodial swaps. At the end its a judgment a user must choose to decide, better UX and trusting a custodial or keeping 100% control of your funds. NOTE: Miradex Atomic Swaps are still in BETA bugs may surface, this only relates to btc-xmr pairs, all other pairs are handled through the underlying dex, no keep tab open or wait for it, once you send, the respective dex handles the swap without user intervention
