ずっと来たかった鹿児島県日置市を訪問。小平勘太さんにがっつりアテンドいただき、永山市長、コンサルから漁師に転身した佐々さん、地銀から出向してオリーブオイルブランドを経営している水流さんとお会いする贅沢な時間。
温泉とKOBIRAのまちづくりが進む玄関口の湯之元、月日貝やタカエビなど鹿児島でしか味わえない魚介が水揚げされる吹上、絶景の浜が広がる江口浜、薩摩焼のクラフトマンが集う美山。
異なる魅力を持つエリアが隣接し巡って楽しい。
さらに永山市長の一本釣りで、勢いのある企業や魅力的な個人がどんどん移住していて今後もっと盛り上がっていきそう。
