Halftime for the #SFvsLAR game and I sure as shit ain't about to watch the Jonas' Brothers.
Figured I'd go back through on parts of the #NEvsSEA game. I wanted to know how much Seattle would stray from what we saw last time we left the field. I have to say, it was like watching #SuperBowlLX on repeat.
The #Seahawks defense has their identity and last night was damn near like picking back up in the 5th quarter.
1st snap is from February. A (late) 7-0 mug look with the nickel pressure opposite the HB vs trips...
2nd snap is from last night. Pretty much the exact same pressure structure. 7-0 pre-snap, bring the nickel opposite the HB (Y i just in the backfield now) and Maye loves to flush right. Both plays result in a throw-away.
-Same 2 hi shells
-A lot of the same front structures
-A lot of the same defensive pressures & call timing
Coach MacDonald & Durde know who they are and what they want to do. There was little difference in how this game was called compared to 7 months ago and that's pretty amazing in a sense.
This is confidence in your system and execution.
For the Pats offense though...

Sam Darnold is expected to miss next week's game, but he should be back sooner, rather than later, sources say. Could be just a few weeks.
With 17 days from Wed. until their Week 3 game against the #Commanders, Darnold gets a schedule break, as well.
