Conducted onsite physical verification of the difficult areas of New #NH27 erstwhile #NH54 vide #Nirimbunglo to #Jatinga to #Harangajao, (49 km) section of the #MahaSadak (#Silchar to #Saurashtra).
Reviewed the progress of work along with #NHAI Authorities and Contractor.
As per instruction of Union Minister #MORTH Shri @nitin_gadkari ji submitted a report to him in the Parliament today, based on my onsite inspection of #NH54 Mahasadak.
Hopeful that the Hon'ble Minister will look into the matter.

14. I visited the site of #Mahasadak on 24th February 2023 and reviewed the progress of work on the 25 km 4-lane #Balacherra-#Harangajao section of #NH54 along with officials of @MORTHIndia. As of now 60% of the work has been completed.
13. Earlier Congress ensured that rail services in Barak Valley are rendered defunct, withheld Forest & Environment clearance for #MahaSadak under one pretext or another. Forest & Environment clearance for #NH54 could only be obtained in Modi Ji's 1st tenure.
