@drmeenalviz Wow, informal action for having a cuppa. That’s ridiculous. You should both raise a grievance. I’m sorry you have to work within a ridiculous system that punishes compassion, demands silence, and fears solidarity. #NHSmanagers #BrokenSystem #Waste #Incompetence
@wesstreeting this is a waste of #NHSManagers time which, at best, is indoctrination & at worst undiluted propoganda imo. Surely, as managers of a service in crisis their time could be better utilised? Or replaced.
Last month the NHS ran a 150 minute staff conference on 'LGBT+ activism and social change', which focused on the 'power of pronouns'. Dozens of NHS managers attended. It was dominated by this man talking about how terrible colleagues are if they don't say 'trans women are women'

Fife NHS - "Do we have any evidence?"
It's now clear that Sandie Peggie was suspended by Fife NHS on bogus, trumped up charges and that she was set up by senior managers who were supposed to be looking after her interests.

Sonia @Sonia_Sparkles underscores the essential nature of the managerial role in▪️ maintaining the functionality of healthcare services▪️ensuring patient safety▪️striving for continuous improvement.
She highlights the immense 🤯pressure and 😟 stress that #NHSmanagers operate under, dealing with many issues while navigating external expectations and criticism. Eventually, Sonia raises the question of who would fulfil these crucial responsibilities if managers were not in place.
Overall, it's a valuable perspective on the often-overlooked complexities of managerial roles in the #NHS, shedding light on the challenges faced by these individuals and advocating for a more nuanced understanding of their contributions. #BecauseWeAllCare @nhsconfed @NHSEngland
In addition to the challenges outlined, it's crucial to note that the effective use of technology can significantly aid NHS Managers. Adopting #DigitalSolutions enhances the efficiency of managerial responsibilities, leading to improved outcomes. @NHSDigital Here are just a few ways technology can be beneficial:
📊 Data Management and Analytics: enables managers to quickly collect, analyse, and interpret vast amounts of data. This can aid in making informed decisions related to performance, #patientsafety, and workforce management.
📣📲 Communication and Collaboration Tools: managers can enhance communication and collaboration among their teams. It is crucial, especially for a healthcare system where effective #teamwork is essential.
🎯 Project Management Software: Managing #improvement initiatives and transformation programs can be facilitated through project management tools, which help in setting goals, tracking progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time.
⚙️🧭 Automation of Routine Tasks: Automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks, such as scheduling and administrative processes, can free up managerial time for more critical responsibilities.
🖥️ Digital Health Records: Utilising electronic health records (EHRs) and other digital documentation systems can improve patient safety, streamline workflows, and facilitate better coordination among healthcare professionals.
As a fellow NHS Middle Manager who CRIED most days for the first 3 months, let me share why you should rethink your view on Managers in #NHS & stop bashing them
Also you can tell me who will do the following instead of them…and no you can’t just “not do” the following…🧵

Not just #NHSManagers anyone who priveliged enough to be owner/manger of a healthcare establishment without healthcare professional status should be made to be accountable to a professional body.instead they go about the place with no clue or care #Letby https://t.co/uz3XLjD10Q
EXCLUSIVE: The doctor who helped catch Britain’s worst baby killer.
Dr Ravi Jayaram spent two years pleading with hospital managers to investigate Lucy Letby.
Instead, they made him apologise and attend mediation with her.

This is so great from @Sonia_Sparkles .. too often people rubbish #NHSManagers ... and yet the NHS needs great managers to keep everything going; let clinicians do their thing; ensure that patients are informed, and everything is organised...truly the glue!
Dear #NHS Managers,
How are you holding up?
There’s so much you do
I drew just a few
How do you make it all fit?
Order, organise & sort it all out?
The booking, calling & planning
The juggling, creating & finding
You are the glue
We see what you do
And to us, you matter too
