We've had a busy week working for better cancer outcomes & services in N. Ireland as we joined 34 charities, @moneillsf and @little_pengelly to launch the #NICCC.
Our Director Simon Vincent also met with @healthdpt staff and @actioncancer CEO to discuss breast cancer issues.

Yesterday, we launched NI's first-ever Cancer Charities Coalition with a reception at Stormont. This was a momentous occasion as 34 cancer charities working across all Health Trusts came together to create a unified sector voice.

Today, we and other members of the NI Cancer Charities Coalition #NICCC came together at Stormont to urge support for the Tobacco and Vapes Bill and a #SmokefreeGeneration. We now celebrate that the LCM was approved - it is a key step to eliminating the harms of tobacco in NI.

Delighted to meet with Minister @RobinSwann_MLA as the interim executive from the #NICCC, to update the Minister on the NICCC and discuss how to advance patient support and the Cancer Strategy across NI.
